Joe and Brianna, A Vineyard Elopement
Long before Covid forced (or, some might say, inspired) couples to rethink their wedding plans, cozy, and small celebrations of a big love were still a hit. And so it was for Brianna and Joe, who came up tp the Vineyard for their November elopement at The Christopher.
Rain was forecast for the day of their ceremony, and so we headed out to the always-photo-ready Edgartown Lighthouse area to capture the intensity of their gaze.
A short and heartfelt ceremony later, Joe and Brianna were ready to kick back with their favorite reading.
I always like to capture those little details that make the day unique - a grandmother’s ring and favorite perfume; a first dance; the bouquet.
My favorites are the before and after moments, the shift where the anticipation turns to joy, the nervousness to comfort with a new name (husband and wife).
